Bridge of Flowers Plant Sale

This Saturday May 17th starting promptly at 9:00 a.m. is the Annual Plant Sale that benefits the famous Bridge of Flowers.  Plants from the Bridge, as well as from some of the best private gardens in the area, an array of geraniums and other annuals will all be on sale. Vendors will also be there selling various items like books, tools and related garden items.  It is the plant sale of the year, don’t miss it!  

The plant sale is located at the Trinity Church Baptist Corner Lot at the corner of Main and Water Street in Shelburne Falls, Ma.

SHELBURNE FALLS ART WALK is happening this evening, September 14, 2013 from 4:00 to 7:00.

Bridge of Flowers - A Mother's Day Treat

The Travel New England magazine made suggestions of wonderful things to do with your Mom on Mother's Day.   Touring the Bridge of Flowers made the list as a perfect Mother's Day treat.   I can't agree more.  The flowers along the bridge are spectacular.   There are fabulous places to treat her to lunch or dinner all within walking distance to the Bridge of Flowers.  

Did you know that the Bridge of Flowers was once an abandoned trolley bridge and is now a beautiful garden pathway.  It is open April 1 - October 30th.  It spans the Deerfield River connecting the lovely Towns of Buckland and Shelburne creating the Village of Shelburne Falls.
