The Massachusetts Association of REALTORS released their September 2012 sales report and for the 15th
straight month sales have gone up compared to the same time last year.
Single-family median prices were down less than one percent from last year
while condo median prices went up compared to September 2011. (see graphs below
– click on them to enlarge).

Highlights from the release:
* Single-family home sales were up 2.8% compared to last year
* Single-family median prices were DOWN 0.6% ($294,900)
* Condo sales were up 10.4% compared to the same time last year
* The median price for a condo was UP 2.9% ($280,000) compared to last year
