*Art Under the Stars* shoes will lead you on an Art Walk across the Deerfield River and through dozens of shops, galleries, and restaurants for an evening of new exhibitions, receptions with artists, studio demonstrations, art on the streets, interactive art, live music, and yummy treats. *Art Under the Stars* is free to the public. Gaze out over Salmon Falls and the glacial potholes, walk the Bridge of Flowers, ride an historic trolley under the stars in this jewel of an artisans village.

Charlemont Trail
System
Trail Hike - Wednesday, May 9th, 5:30 - 7:00 PM

A few
landowners in Charlemont have come together to build a trail
network in the center of
town. Berkshire East, the Warfield House and Zoar Outdoor control over 1500
acres of mostly forested land and the three landowners,
with considerable
support from the New England Mountain Bike Association, have developed
over 20 miles of hiking and biking trails that are free and open to the
public for non-motorized recreation.
A few upcoming events that are free
and open to the public are:
Trail Hike -
Wednesday, May 9 at 5:30 to 7:30 pm. Meet at the Berkshire
East base lodge. We
will drive up to the top of the mountain and then hike
the trails at the
top.
Trail Work Day -
Saturday, May 12, 9 am to 1 pm. Meet at the Berkshire East base
lodge.
